Obama continues to disappoint as leader of this country.
I really held out hope when he was elected that even though I didn't
approve of his political views, that he would be a leader to mend race
relations in this country.
That he would smooth the left-wing / right-wing violence that we have in this country.
I had hoped he would take the Bill Cosby stance on blacks, make
yourselves better and stop relying on past "injustices" as your reasons
for failure.
I had hoped he would ask black men to stand up and become family/father figures for the next generations.
He hasn't done it.
If anything he has invigorated race tensions in this country with his
campaign talks of "they'll make fun because I don't look like them..."
and other self-served racial remarks.
I had hoped that he truly reach out to the right and be a moderate with
views on immigration, abortion, patriotism, respect for the Bush
administration and the eight years of safety they gave this country.
He hasn't done it.
He is bowing to Saudi Kings, the ultimate disgrace for the President of the United States to perform.
He is pandering to our European allies. Apologizing for the USA's past behavior.
He is photo-opping with Hugo Chavez, Venezuelan dictator who rigged his own election.
His staff thinks Fidel Castro is "wonderful."
"He looked us in the eyes," they swooned upon returning to the states.
The actions are endless of solid progressive catering to the left of
this country. Sean Hannity warned of this it; that Obama would be a
"moderate" up until the election, and then once elected, the most
liberal Senator in the country would get busy.
Boy! has he.
On one hand, what he is doing is perfect if you personally would rather
see him fail terribly even if it means the USA takes some damage during
his presidency.
With his, dismantling of the terror protections President Bush put in post 9/11;
and wanting amnesty for 13 million illegal aliens (Mexicans);
and his allowing of a witchhunt to prosecute the lawyers and folks that
did what was necessary to protect this country post 9/11;
and his labeling military veterans as right-wing terrorists;
and his mass spending of stimulus money in an effort to artificially
prop-up a dead economy, credit market, futures market. Weekend at
Bernie's?
The guy is digging his own grave, it's nearly 6 feet deep and he
already has tossed the shovel aside and is judging the impact of
jumping in.
Already.
On the 21st of April, 2009.
If President Obama allows amnesty for these illegal aliens that have already
over-run our southern states, states will go bankrupt, following suit after California.
If the USA is hit again by another major Islamic-led terrorist attack
after he has so obviously stated that "Islamic extremists are not our
worry; the next Timothy McVeigh is!", he will not be able to get out of
D.C. quick enough.
If he allows his A.G. to go after the lawyers who consulted about the
legality of the use of waterboarding, coupled with the above, there
are no words to describe how inept he will be labeled.
If this trillion dollar spending spree doesn't have the long term
effects he hopes, all USA citizens will feel as though they all were
just Bernie Madoff'ed!
Horrible, I really had hope for him, a sort of modern-day M.L.K.
What a disappointment.
Now the question becomes, who will step up and become our next leader? We need you to do so, NOW.
Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Joe Lieberman?
They all have their perks; whether any of them is electable even after this upcoming collapse is debatable.
Whomever it is, has to be a moderate socially. We conservatives are going to have to give homosexuals civil unions.
Not marriage but all the legal benefits of the same.
Our next leader will have to openly state that the states are free do
what they wish with regards to this topic; just leave the sanctity of
traditional marriage alone.
It's our compromise to them.
Abortion will have to remain at the state level as well even though it
pains me greatly to say it.
Abortion should be illegal unless the life
of the mother is at verifiable risk, rape and a few other crimes.
However, our next leader will have to be moderate on this as well and
allow states to handle this issue.
Our next leader will have to strongly support traditional, conservative
and progressive values. He/she will have to adamantly work hard to stop this
hate of majority-religions that is currently in vogue in this country.
Last but most importantly, our next leader needs to return the text of
the United States Constitution and demand that all others act in
accordance with the true meanings of our founding fathers. It really is
a simple document; follow it.
Who will it be? Democrat, Independent, Republican?
We are waiting.
